about me
I'm a creator. It's hard to define my one talent when your vision guides what you're going to create each night.
When I was in the 6th grade, I took my father's laptop and started making videos with my friends. Youtube the big new thing, and I wanted to learn more. Which, I didn't think that would lead me into a path of design and art.
By 7th grade, I got my first drawing tablet. I began to grow and learn digital art and how much it would transform me. I grew to have the artist name, JovialNightz, which I still use for my illustrative side.
Just fast forward past the part where I went to college and pursued graphic design, and here we are today! I take any concept or idea I have and someday put it into motion. I love working with start up businesses understand their target audience while being creative.
Personally I never stop thinking about art. I think about how it impacts our daily lives in the smallest of ways whether it be by an icon recognition or the overall emotion of a brand. Friends call me visionary because I actually make my dreams into realities when I can.
how my passions keep me learning
In 2017, I really wanted to live my dream of attending a Sonic convention. So I took on the job of putting together an artist meetup Junior year of college here in Dallas. I began to use the skills I learned to create a marketing campaign, social media posts and even drove to SXSW to pursue this passion.
Chaos Creators has now grow to be a community of creatives that work to create fan projects recognized by Sonic team themselves. We've hosted virtual events, and excited to bring the art festival to Dallas.

Carolyn is outstanding! When my church needed attractive, compelling fundraising materials to showcase a major campaign, Carolyn came highly recommended. What she produced wowed everyone who saw it—and we’re seeing results. Our church is very hopeful for the future, and it’s thanks in large part to how Carolyn’s work has helped us to see that future.

Carolyn’s work is top-notch. I’m a fussy writer, so I wouldn’t trust my content to just anyone. Every time I send my content to Carolyn, she gives it back better than I envisioned. I’m not sending my best message until I send it with Carolyn.
